Any financial institution can say they want to help local people succeed. At Polish National Credit Union, we were built for it.
Any financial institution can say they want to help local people succeed. At Polish National Credit Union, we were built for it.
Since our inception, in 1921, the Polish National Credit Union has grown to meet the needs of our communities. We opened our doors at 222 Exchange Street in Chicopee in an office shared with a real estate and insurance firm owned by Felix Furtek, our first president. In 1942, we moved to 228 Exchange Street and then to a new building located at 244 Exchange Street in 1967. In 1985, the Credit Union acquired Granby Credit Union followed by Buxton Employees Credit Union in 1989. Then in 1989, a new office was built at 46 Main Street in Chicopee Falls.
In January 2006, our pattern of growth continued with the acquisition of the Westfield Federal Credit Union and the construction of a new full-service branch in Southampton, MA. Just a few years later, in November 2010, another full-service branch was opened in Hampden, MA.
Today, the Polish National Credit Union stands strong and proud as a full-service community credit union with a complete line of personal and business banking products and services, and 8 branches located in Chicopee, Granby, Westfield, Southampton, Hampden, Wilbraham and East Longmeadow, MA. We stand by our employees, member and the communities in which we serve.
To grow lasting relationships to improve people’s lives.
